I hope everybody had a wonderful Christmas. We were lucky enough to see both of our families for Christmas this year. We spent the day with Jay's family opening presents and having dinner. At about 2pm we started our treck up to SLC to see my family. We got about half way there and got stuck in a terrible snow storm so we decided to stay the night and drive the rest the next day. In all it took 24 hours to get there but it was a blast to see all my family. I forgot to bring my camera so we won't be putting any Christmas pictures on here....sorry :(
Once we got home we finished packing up the appartment.....

We FINALLY got the keys to the house on New Years Eve and started moving everything in. In the excitment of moving we misplaced the camera until this weekend so I have some more pictures of the move and unpacking on my cell phone. I will upload those once I find the right cord:) !!!!! We went and bought 10 gallons of paint and are 90% done with the downstairs and we are planning on finishing the upstairs next weekend. (cross your fingers!!!) So, I have some pictures of the family room and kitchen all painted and the TALL ceilings we have in the entry that we had to paint today.....I will never do that again, they are 22 ft ceilings.

Did I forget to mention we bought a new couch and a 52 inch big screen TV !!!!! :) More pictures to come......

Only 7 more days!!!!!

Ok... so it's been a while since the last update!!!! There have been so many ups and downs with the mortgage company and all kinds of surprises they have thrown our way, but everything is still a go. What a difference a few weeks make. The only thing left to do is clean the place. So here are some new pics for those who are interested.

Sorry to those of you who have been waiting for pictures of the house. My Internet has been acting up the last week and keeps shutting down on me. There is finally a final close date on the house of.......Dec. 24th......that's right, Christmas Eve. Merry Christmas!!! Currently they are working on getting the countertops and lighting in. Next week should be the sinks and the faucets.



Other than the house.....we went to Las Vegas last week to visit some family for an early Thanksgiving. The trip was awesome but not long enough. Oh, thanks to Dana and Gary for posting the stuff about the Bodies World Expo because we went and saw that at the Luxor while we were there. If anybody has a chance to go to that it was incredible.

.......then we had to go buy costumes for our Halloween party. Didn't think it would take us as long as it did to get ready for the party but the costumes turned out great. Jay looks really creepy!!!

They're Back !!!

So you will never believe who I went to see last week in concert.......

I was given some free box seats so some friends and I went to see them. You wouldn't believe the number of women at this concert :) It wasn't half bad, they played some of their popular old stuff and some new stuff I had never even heard before but all in all it was entertaining.

House Update

So we drove by the house again today and took some more pictures for those of you who are interested !!! I have also decided to unblock the page so anybody can see our page now, I hope you enjoy. I know I sound like a big baby but it was cold in Phoenix this weekend 65 degrees ....bbbuuuurrr :)
