The DOG !!!

We didn't really realize what we were getting into when we decided to get a "DOG" We ended up getting a 60 lb terror !!!!! Here is a current picture so you get an idea of how big he is getting...

Nice tongue!!

This last weekend it actually rained in Phoenix so our unfinished back yard was one big mud puddle for him to play in. He is getting so big but is actually getting to be much more behaved. Mom and Mandee were here a couple of weeks ago, thanks guys for coming to see us !! I saw the pictures of the cabin that Dana posted. It sure is sad to see those trees gone. We all have so many memories swinging over the fire and getting the swings all wrapped together. It's for the best but still such a difference.

Wedding update: I have my dress!!! Also, we have met with the photographer and officiant. At this point we really don't have much that we have to do...except pay for everything !!

That's all we really have for now.....more later.

We were in Utah last week to see family, help Trina move and spend some time at the cabin. We had a lot of fun hiking :), fishing (trying to at least), and golfing. It was also great that Heine and his family were there so we could spend some time with them before their big adventure!! Check out the slide show of pics....

We're Engaged!!!

YEEEAAAHHH!!!! We are engaged :)

We have set the date for May 8th, 2010....so don't plan anything else that day!! Plans are coming along nicely. We have already found a great place to have the ceremony and reception....go check it out. www.regencygarden.com

We have had a pretty exciting month!!! Having a dog and a new house keeps us pretty busy all the time. For the family back in Utah, we have bought our plane tickets !!!! Trip is planned for June 23-27. Hopefully Trina will let us take her up on her offer and stay at her place :) Well, here are a few things we have been doing..

So in the spirit of home improvement we managed to break an 80 lb piece of glass.....here is the outcome:

Coby went under the knife and got his ears cropped :) He had to wear a cone around his neck for about 2 weeks......

Now for about 6 weeks he will look like a raindeer...

Hello from Phoenix

Coby is getting SOOOO BIG!!!!! I guess that's what you get when you have a 90 lb dog :) We finally got the whole back yard done for him and he hasn't torn it up quite yet.

We both decided we needed a vacation so we spent the weekend in Sedona. It was a blast!!! We went on one of those Jeep Tours and went 4 wheeling.....HOW FUN. The hotel we stayed at was "Different" but it did have a spa tub !! FYI, not all "resorts" are created equal. Here are some pictures to tide you over until we see each of you again.

Wow....has it really been that long since I updated this. Sorry :) A lot has happened, we are all settled into the house and most of the painting is done. The house looks awesome. Dad and Kym were here to see us for a few days and we had so much fun. Thanks for the wonderful Ikea gifts. Our first home improvement project was to put up a gate, grass area and dog door so we could get a dog. It took us a few weeks but it is finally done. The dog door was probably the biggest pain. We had the whole cut in the wall and we were on a role but when we tried to put the dog door in the whole we couldn't get the screws to go in and tighten. After about 4 hours of trying we discovered that the screws that came with the kit were about 1/2 inch to short. Once we figured that out we ran to Lowes to get the right ones. In our excitement to get out of the house we locked our selves out. Had to break into my car to get the garage door opener out and then finally get the dog door finished. We added a new puppy to the family this weekend.....His name is Coby and he is a Doberman Pinscher. He is only 5 weeks old and is SOOOO cute !!! To bad he can't just stay that small. He will get to be about 80 lbs and pure muscle.....That's big. So far he hasn't managed to chew anything up or go to the bathroom to much in the house so we are lucky with that.

We are planning a trip to Utah in June to see the fam. Trina and Aaron are getting their new house, my Uncle is coming in from Denmark and it will be a good chance for everybody to meet the new dog......Here are some pictures to tide you all over until the next time I have a spare minute to update you again !!!
